'Poletti, you should know that Kubrick took over from Anthony Mann in 'Spartacus' (who had clashed with producer/star Douglas): not bad for a 'commissioned' film.. :) -'Shining', an enormous film. Beyond horror (and S.King), beyond the perception of the surrounding reality ("Overlook Hotel"..).
