@supersoul: ok Scorsese, and all of New Hollywood in general: in particular, I believe 'Peeping Tom' has greatly influenced the aesthetics and poetry in De Palma. -Good thing it was half-reviewed, soul! ;)

P.S. - Too bad that even the tough and pure Terry fell into it, with stuff like Limp Bizkit... Andy Wallace, of course, a huge name in mixing and also the producer of a gem like 'King for a Day' by FNM and 'Grace' by Jeff Buckley. I mean, he produced 'Grace'... Amen.

Sure, Keaton made 'Me and My Cow' & 'How I Won the War', and shorts like 'The Scarecrow' or 'The Bellboy', but what about 'The Kid', 'The Circus', 'Gold Rush', 'City Lights', 'Modern Times', 'The Great Dictator', etc.? Basically Rivera vs Beccalossi! :) And then I didn’t quite understand, some say that Chaplin always portrayed only Charlot (and 'Monsieur Verdoux'?! 'Limelight', 'A King in New York', not to mention 'A Woman of Paris', an intimate drama filmed in '23..) while Buster, with that great face he had (and I emphasize 'great'), was more eclectic! President of the USA or miner, Buster Keaton remained a slave to himself and to that 'face' that was so overwhelming. He couldn’t renew himself, unfortunately.
P.S. - Totò is one of the greatest comedians, no doubt about it: he is highly appreciated abroad, just ask Scorsese, Coppola, or Malick..
