In our R.E.M. Top Ten, 3 gems above all: 'Automatic', 'Murmur' & 'Document'. It must mean something... And watch out for 'Fables', the most underrated but incredibly important turning point album; for me on par with the least 'enigmatic' & most direct 'Life's rich pageant'. What a challenge to make a ranking from the great songbook of the Athenians; I randomly quote 'Radio Free Europe', 'Pilgrimage', 'Perfect Circle', 'So Central Rain', 'Feeling Gravity's Pull', 'Maps and Legends', 'Driver 8', 'Wendell Gee', 'Begin the Begin', 'Fall on Me', 'Cuyahoga', 'Finest Worksong', 'The One I Love', 'Oddfellows Local 151', 'The Wrong Child', 'I Remember California' etc. etc. and I stop at the Eighties. @Gummo: "flat" 'AFTP'?!
Stanley Kubrick [e Anthony Mann] Spartacus
Voto:
Well no fuck, this remains the most incisive historical peplum despite being the only commissioned Kubrick.
Metaphorical fistfights on set with the star Kirk Douglas, who produced it. The legendary censored\homosex scene of Crassus trying to seduce the young Antoninus in the sauna is epic. Anthony Mann has almost nothing to do with it, anyway Marco: another hundred comments filled with passion are on their way.. I saw the TRUE armor worn during the filming by the legendary Laurence Olivier\Marco Licinius Crassus during the visit to the Kubrick exhibit in Rome, pure pleasure and a major thrill. Get a bit of M.Poletti, undeniably.

The title rocks, but Richie Benson doesn't back down.

We are all a bit "ambiguous," cathartic: even your nickname. But thanks for the great rating.

Good job, sir, as always. I don't really remember them well, I should retrieve them.

But for goodness' sake, we were all full of uncles with the cassette of 'A collection of great dance songs'! Unsettling..

We threw the tricolor Marco, there's not much to be done.. A team of wimps that, between heel taps at an empty goal and a defense of marble (in the sense that they don’t move), falls apart like snow in the sun at the first obstacles. And what the hell does it mean to shoot 14 times at the opponent's goal if you don’t score, huh? What's that supposed to mean, Luciano? The only ones in Europe with just 2 strikers in the lineup. Well.

Finally, damn it: you’ve dotted the i’s, supesòll. This ruthless and nihilistic work deserved such an in-depth & clear review. Chirurgh is truly a Death Angel; with Him on stage, the dream turns into a nightmare from which there’s no return: the serial-killer + moralist of the film story. Ode to the Coens, siempre. I wanted to write it too, but now it's not needed: you’ve said the essentials. Unless I come up with some Pulitzer-worthy nonsense of my own...

Classic testicle of the series 'it's my first review, golly!', but with a more radio-fm tone. My uncle gifted me the cassette when I was a kid: el primero approcio-sexual avec il Fluido. And it was 1989, I got you, chawlanka!
