(I reiterate the concept) @filini: "enthusiastic reviews"?! Well, maybe because of the vote; but I assure you that this little bastard nearly moved me with his honesty & genuinely retro attitude.. Not like that jackass Jack White who wants to clone garage rock from the late '60s to early '70s. This "Warpaint" is not mere reproduction, but rather a very strong spiritual affinity with classics like the Allman Brothers Band or Lynyrd. It doesn't sound like a work from that era; it seems to have been produced in '73, perhaps at the Rolling Stones Mobile Studio.
