John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers Bare Wires
Voto:
It starts out a bit bland but lifts you up in the end. I agree with you on everything, even on the opening track which, as ambitious as it is (and perhaps precisely because of that), feels a bit heavy in certain parts. The solo in Killing Time is stunning for me; Mick Taylor belongs to the long list of incredibly underrated greats. Just saying that the best records the Rolling Stones made were with him is enough.

The album is very '60s, it sounds quite outdated today, but then again, they didn't have high expectations either. It seems to me that it was recorded in the studio simulating a live setting; I'm not sure if that's what you meant too :). A fitting review for the album.

I wrote that it's evira... I meant to say that it's vira, of course :)

I haven’t listened to the album, and I don’t think I will. DLF: I won’t comment on the iron maiden; indeed, the comparison seems a bit bold to me (but I haven’t heard anything, let me repeat). Regarding prog, apart from Parsifal, the Pooh in 1975 released "Un po' del nostro tempo migliore" and "Forse ancora poesia," two works in orchestral prog quite distant from the local prog sounds of the time. Both are excellent albums, followed by "Poohlover," which shifts towards more psychedelic sounds. In any case, I believe they’re all worth a listen.
John Lennon & Yoko Ono Some Time In New York City

Well done Enbar, beautiful review. As for the character Ono, undeniably number one.

I would like to join the discussion, but I can't think of anything intelligent to say. So, nothing.
Red Hot Chili Peppers One Hot Minute

First! My favorite of the chili peppers. Navarro’s style I like much more than Frusciante’s; here he truly brought something that wasn’t there before, more psychedelic atmospheres and a heavier sound. The title track, walkabout, falling into grace, shallow by the game... oh my goodness. And what bass lines is Flea pulling out?!?!
