If dejavu is a 5, for me this is a 4. I don't agree that this album represents the narcotic euphoria; I believe that will come in the next one (teach your children, 4+20, our house, almost cut my hair) where the songs are more "relaxed" and you can glimpse that sense of searching for home ("woodstock") because it becomes clear that the battles are about to be lost. Here, on the other hand, there is still a desire to escape ("wooden ships"), to fight ("pre-road downs"), and to experiment ("judy blue eyes"). In fact, you could have mentioned the latter.

Read. I'm not very much in agreement about the album; perhaps the critic from delrock is right in calling it more the end of a story than the beginning of another. And then I absolutely do not agree with considering Morrison Hotel a lesser album (after all, the blues phase starts there, in my opinion). As songs, that one is superior to this, and in terms of Morrison's voice, this definitely has something more.

First of all, I thank whoever called this page "full of crap"; I hope at least the toilet flushes properly. /// PEOPLE: well, more than anything because there's still little psychedelic here (I think more from Invisible Lantern onwards - Grey Diamond Desert docet), and then if you look in the DeGeneri, I didn't include grunge, precisely because I think there's very little grunge here.
