Let me get this straight, in Valdastico they organize a "sagra della fregna"? And I didn’t know anything about it? And Paolo Conte fits perfectly with this type of event? Okay, let me know when you’re back so we can meet there.

So… how many things can we say about the experimental Battiato? Too many, and without a doubt @[Eneathedevil] would know a bit more. Well. It’s true that the album represents that dark period the author found himself in at the time, starting from a few years before until the shift to the pop phase. I have always been very surprised (especially compared to foreign artists, but that would be a long discussion…) that he himself has always considered the experimental period as decidedly inferior to the pop one (he used to say that there are many more experimental elements, and much better realized, in the records from the late 70s), and this speaks volumes both about our way of understanding an artist's works, and about the personality of this artist.

you are a great catch for this place. my sincerest compliments I have already given you in due time, here I will just reiterate them. And the image of a psychedelic Carducci earns me a career as a de-writer.

What can I say, I completely agree with Odradek, both because it was a piece I also wanted to write a comment like this – you really can’t just throw in references to “minchia” in every review and every listen, can you! – and because it’s the comment that is the furthest from rudeness and condescension that could be made in these cases, and I certainly wouldn’t have been able to write it any better.

Review that is more of a notification, so not much to say. I agree with you almost only on point 3; for the rest, it seems to me that you have a somewhat "romanticized" view of rock, like when you say that throughout the history of rock, artists made unconventional choices. I believe, on the other hand, that in most cases these choices fit into a much broader context dictated by the musical, cultural, and artistic movements of their time. It also seems to me that you contradict yourself on points 3 and 4, but whatever. As for the album, I’ve only listened to a few tracks, and I must say it sounds exactly like the original, so I would say it’s a work for completists, nothing more. If they wanted to prove that they could play, they hit the mark, but in 2016, tributes to Led Zeppelin just can’t be heard.
