That this is the best seems like nonsense to me, even though you gave your reasons. I completely disagree, it has always seemed mostly uninspired to me, full of fillers, the first real misstep. Above this, I easily place the first self-titled album, the record with the Manassas and Just Roll Tape (that one, yes, a true delight).

What a lovely review. Congratulations. I'm not familiar with the album and I don't think I'll look into it further (the T. Rex, obviously yes, but that's a different story, I believe).

I reached the definition of Americana and there I stopped.
The most beautiful album featuring Clapton.

I confirm the out-of-this-world evening that I imagined. And from listening to their second album Drugstore, which I bought at the classic booth at the end of the concert, I reaffirm what I already thought and what comes across from Tam's review: the covers are ultimately just a pretext to showcase their musical vision of the world, without spaces or boundaries. Great.

Great Tam. I'm going to the concert tonight here in Trento. I already know the band quite well, so I was more surprised that Fabi joined the crew - but as you say, there are evidently (also) marketing needs that us common mortals can't understand. Anyway, I suggest everyone to delve into some of their tracks because I think they are really good.

You don't really say much about the text other than a few easily found things online. I start to wonder if you even read it. A missed opportunity to talk a bit about musicology in an environment that has historically been somewhat closed off to these kinds of topics, like the debasio.

It's legitimate for McLaughlin not to be to everyone's taste. Still, you seem like someone who has at least listened to music. I, on the other hand, believe that - in general - there is always something to listen to and learn from musicians like him. The albums with Miles, his first 2/3 as a solo artist, those with Shakti... immense for me. Of course, he’s not BB King, but we’re talking about entirely different universes.
