I've heard really good things about both this one and its predecessor. I'll try to see them.

Come on, Algol! "Quei bravi ragazzi" (or "Goodfellas") better than "Scarface"!?!? :-P You did well to mention it; think about it, even the voters on IMDb agree with you, looking at the averages: 8.8 vs 8.2 :-) actually, there are many more voters for yours! It always remains a matter of taste ;-) I haven’t seen that film in ages; I remember a ruthless Joe Pesci! They usually show it late at night... I’ll get my hands on it and let you know, thanks for the reference!

By the way, my ranking of the three films: 1st: Scarface, 2nd: Carlito's Way, 3rd: The Untouchables. What do you think?

Accurate review, I completely agree with the idea of inertia between the succession of key scenes. And also regarding Costner's poor (let’s say - very poor) performance. I really dislike, though, that Connery's performance is only mentioned in that way °_° For me, he constitutes, from the very first scene he appears on the bridge at night, a true benchmark for Costner, even in acting, at least three-fifths of the film's spine. On the other hand, I find De Niro-Capone's "talk and badge" almost ridiculous: one of those lines for kids who repeat it while smirking (like I did myself) but don't see anything else. Among all the key scenes, my favorite remains the arrest on the stairs: Garcia really makes his presence felt there. At the moment of Costner's farewell, you can guess who will replace him indeed ;-)

Official: by the end of 2010 the second release of the trio is promised, and an additional fine-tuning is already promised! They've been working on this for quite some time; on the other hand, reading more about this album I discovered that it was originally meant to be some kind of experiment! So LET'S WAIT ;-)

I don't vote on the work itself (I haven't read it) but rather on what has been reported. Also, I'm familiar with Fini's thoughts, and as a convinced Nietzschean, I can only support them. Beautiful review. STOP.

I'm sorry, I would like to but I can't read: as soon as possible I'll come back to give a couple of comments ;-)

Ok Trix ;-) maybe some things you could have phrased better or even avoided this review altogether. Anyway, if you read my comment in the other review, I advocate for the INVITATION TO READ FAIRY TALES. This invitation to parents MUST come from teachers! How times have changed... alas, we will always get worse :-\

Forgive me, Trix, but from reading the review, it's clear to me that you haven't understood a key point at all: this film is NOT a remake of the first Disney film but rather the CONTINUATION of the story! That is to say, the second part of Alice's story, indeed existing, but a little bit altered in this version. For the rest, DON'T THROW AWAY MONEY!
