I just wanted to emphasize that besides Zawinul, there are dozens of other musicians who have made their mark on the Weather Report: essentially, the sound of the WR is nothing more than a gigantic series of incredible ideas filtered through many artists, and the albums produced during those years are proof and testimony of this. Having been protagonists of the jazz-fusion genre (you know better than I do), they were an example and source of inspiration for many artists, like a "school of sound." My list was meant to say "hey, look how many incredible models of style and creativity, and also, hey look at how much material there is to draw from."
