SEE dear metallarobionic, I spend many hours walking, but these days my woman is in Italy with her family and I have a lot of time for myself, so I'm scribbling. Do you want to know what I did today? A 3-hour walk along the Danube, then I jumped into the city and it was already 6:30 PM. I think that's enough for today...

I’m a guru of deBaser and I’m here to pull your ears (;D) - The review is acceptable, but you gave a score that’s way too high to a damned useless piece of work. Let’s see your next one.

STOP. NOW let me tell you what happened, and this isn’t fantasy. Mia to Woody "darling, I would love to be the boss's girl in one of your films, I’ll give it my best, will you write it for me?" Woody to Mia "well, I mean, I..." and he writes in a flash a draft script, just a few lines. The rest is all improvised. I WON’T discuss the character portrayals, which moved and touched me. THEN it’s not constructed, the structure is present only in the first half hour, the rest flows on its own. THEN I would never question the wonderful spontaneity of Allen, whom I’ve adored for years. Here you can notice weak spots, structural issues that end up appearing intentional when they’re actually about marginality, superficiality, and mediocrity. Allen was indeed working on three other scripts and additional shoots. The sense of “disjointed” is also felt in the character portrayals, which are less complex than usual, not deeply explored or explorable. This is true, if you consider Allen's dialogues somewhat bare. Anyway, I’m not interested if MORANDINI or MEREGHETTI praise it. This is my reasoning, which I can further elaborate on, and I welcome yours.

oh no my little poletti, you are completely mistaken! this role he has truly taken to heart. and he gave his best in magnolia. Eyes wide? what an eyesore when he performs, it looks like he's just starting out!

I ALMOST VOMITED when a journalist whose name I can't remember said that Calà is the Italian Woody Allen. If you tell me the name of that asshole journalist, and it’s not a euphemism, I would be grateful because I intend to hurt him to recover from that bullshit.

Just read your review. Bertolucci is definitely a good director, but I find his films too visionary, full of paradoxes and distorted realities, infused with what the male audience wants, namely beautiful women and pubic hair. An hedonist, forgive me, overrated. Happy ok
Carlo Verdone Viaggi Di Nozze

@ RANDOLPH CHANDLER: I'll tell you, Gerini, and this is not just my opinion, really delivered a good performance; perhaps it wasn't difficult for her to embody the character in question. If you read the reviews, and this applies to Iris Blond as well, Gerini has shown a certain—unexpected—talent. Then, if I may say, Verdone is no fool and subjects his "employees" to (not trivial) casting, and believe me, he knows how to choose well. If there is a form of dignified Italian comedy today, it is certainly that of Verdone, who relies on capable actors and does not pick leftover cabaret performers, but people who have done theater or have experience behind them. Pivetti is also reassuring, and paradoxically, the least credible (despite having years of theater behind her) is Mascoli.
