If you could see the teenagers in Vienna... it makes me want to cry. Today I saw in the subway two twelve-year-olds, at most fourteen, with piercings on their faces, a cigarette in hand ready to be lit, and an attitude of a dark cool kid that is so popular here. Yes, because here things work like this: either you’re cool, or you’re nobody. This leads to a sad and monotonous standardization: alcohol and drugs. But the blame is solely on the parents.
