I need to clarify: if imaginary day were the first album by PMG, I would say it’s excellent. I’m not debating the quality, but the repetitiveness, the lack of ideas, or rather the "scraping the bottom." Let it be clear that the musicians are excellent, but I am not the only one to have noticed the "lack of energy" in many pieces, the forced innovation, to stay within a genre, that fusion, which could have been considered DEAD for a few years now. Today Pat no longer does fusion; we are witnessing the AFTERMATH of Fusion, but the genre is practically extinct and has said what it had to say. If Latin influences made albums like Secret story or letter from home successful, in imaginary day we jump between genres that are too distant, too little explored (just a taste, to show that there’s experimentation), but the metal piece is just too stupid, come on...

I can say that the CD is incredibly tasty, but I wouldn't know how it compares to previous works. I will conduct some research because Taylor is great.
