I'm starting to enjoy listening to metal with them again. If it can still be called metal.

It's not a matter of metalheads or not. It seems to me like the release (over a decade ago) of Kovenant, insignificant hybrids. In my opinion, this is neither originality nor creativity. It's just a bit of electronic nu metal chaos, even somewhat trivial, no matter how fast and relentless it may be. I think they are utterly dispensable.

They seem like the Kovenant from a few years ago. A disappointment for me. Very electric nu metal. This album didn’t convince me at all. Alcest, Les Discrets, Sigh, Altar Of Plagues, Nachtqualcosa, Liturgy: these are the paths.

Great record, evident shoegaze vein. What mementomori was saying elsewhere is true: a lot of new generation black metal seems to have the right elements for pushing boundaries. Alcest in the first place, in my opinion.
