Hodgson was a rhythm guitarist, but above all, a keyboardist. However, his guitar parts are never trivial; just listen to the intro of "Bloody Well Right." Crime of The Century is perhaps their best album.

The Jethro Tull, the ones with the Jethro Tull sound, are the ones from A Passion Play, no doubt about it. Then, as the Pibroch says, "there are at least two formidable line-ups, tied together by Aqualung." I appreciate a little more the one with Barlow, but I must say that Jethro Tull are always a guarantee, whether with Barrè, Abrams, or Palmer...
