I'm not giving a grade because I need to listen to it again carefully, but the lyrics and Giovanni Leone's voice are nothing short of embarrassing.

In fact, the ending of the review feels a bit like "Melevisione."

I listened to him but I don't remember it.

Neu!, despite the nickname, you are a child of 2007. Interpret it as you wish.

Good review. The album seems odd but it's not a greatest hits: an absolute masterpiece. Battiato can only be compared to Battisti.

Roger Chapman!!!??? Come on, compared to him, he's just a honking goose. He might have a warm and emphatic voice, but please, it's like saying Tom Waits. Listen to "The Show Must Go On," and then tell me, especially in the second part: Mercury's performance reaches levels of intensity (among other things, in very high registers, which is rare for a male voice) that Chapman has never even dreamed of, not to mention the others you've mentioned (who are great singers in their own right). The funny thing is that now not only are the Queen being bashed, but even Mercury's voice is being questioned.
Ahh, and I reiterate, unlike the others, Mercury improved over time. With Plant, for example, it was a free fall after 1970; don't even get me started on Daltrey, and Gillan has always been terrible (being able to hit animalistic high notes doesn't mean singing well). Slideblues, if I were you, I'd say "I just can't stand the Queen," you'd avoid saying such nonsense.

True, Freddie Mercury is one of the few who grew vocally over 20 years.

He didn't have a very technical voice, but show me other rock singers who could keep up with him (excluding Ronnie James Dio and John Lawton, who in comparison are a bit cold)? Names are welcome.

Nice review, but I don't understand how there could be Synths in 1967: there were the very first Moog and ARP modulars around, and I doubt they could appear on this record. The first to play and record the Moog was Wendy Carlos (at the time Walter Carlos).
