In addition, in '74 Yes had Patrick Moraz as their keyboardist, very jazzy and dodecaphonic compared to Wakeman, who was all about the bombast.

In '74, these guys produced two masterpieces like "The Gates of Delirium" and "Sound Chaser," tracks that feel like they were recorded this morning, they are that timeless. In 1974, while Fripp was overwhelmed, Gabriel too (he was starting to think in terms of business) and Hammill didn't quite know what to do (progressive or punk?).
