The new wave, for example, wasn't at these levels, but it was close: instruments too calm, keyboardists blaring on Prophet 5s becoming irritating, guitarists asleep at their instruments, drummers inserting headphones and playing to a click that completely zonked them out. Up to the apex of not making music that we are still experiencing today.

It’s true, London Calling isn’t too bad, it strays quite a bit from punk. As for me, I never said to listen only to progressive, I just shared my opinion on an overrated band like Pere Ubu with that greasy fat guy who can’t even sing.
