No, he was referring to Christ, whom I have personally known. I know as much about the '72 Live as a tuber in the middle of the Gobi Desert.

But open your eyes, the Stooges are just an image; they have little to share with music. In a way, they are the fathers of all the boy bands of recent times. Rock has much better champions: Rolling Stones, Creedence Clearwater Revival (even if very folk), LED ZEPPELIN, and so on. The Stooges, but who the hell are they? Have they ever made any memorable tracks? Someone will respond that yes, they made "1969" and "1970," true anthems. But just "Fortunate Son" by the CCR is enough to bury them under piles of stuff and swords, to put it in Pezzali's words.

DaveJonGilmour, forget it, it’s fashionable to row against nowadays. But on Judgment Day, God will be with us and they will keep rowing for all eternity. AMEN

Apart from the fact that the Stooges with that faggot Iggy Pop are just a passing fancy, Kansas were one of the few American bands from that era worth saving, together with Aerosmith and a few others. I'm sorry to say that while in the '60s the USA made a significant contribution to music, in the '70s they really dropped the ball.
