I haven't judged Allen based on prejudices; I've listened to the album, unfortunately, so I know what I'm talking about. And what does it mean that "she has earned the right to be assessed outside of clichés?" Allen is a product of disposable music marketing; this is as clear as day. MTV is the network (as is All Music) that dulls the brains of young people by passing off all the music production they are shoving down our throats as gold. I don't understand how you can defend either side. No hard feelings...

Pleasant album but nothing more, one of its fortunes was being carried by the photo book "Sex" released by Madonna that year, anyway beautiful "Erotica" and "Rain", for the rating I'm undecided between a 2 and a 3, I think I won't vote. Good review.

Frankly a pointless commercial move, what was the point of releasing a new best-of after just two albums? Moreover, they had the nerve to put 26 years of singles on just one CD. The best compilations are The Singles 81\85 and 86\98; on top of that, the album is packaged in a depressing way, it almost looks like a budget edition. I don't know anymore whether to categorize them as my favorite band.
