Sorry "buldra," but your comment and the link to the review and comments have nothing to do with it at all.

Lydia Lunch. I saw a recent photo of hers. Forget about Death Valley 69... the years pass for her too... but maybe it's just appearances that deceive...

just them. I love their version of mother sun. The Appliance, however, are less harsh and more psychedelic. Take Loop's Mother Sun as a reference, if you want... maybe next week I'll swing by your area (the Tollwood program doesn't excite me. Is there any concert worth attending?

What a coincidence, this morning, before coming to the office, I listened to one of their promos from '97 and thought it could make a nice review for De-Baser. I also wonder why they never really emerged. Hypnotic bass lines and a guitar play that has always led me to consider them, musically speaking, the continuation of the Loop. Clearly, now they play more with keyboards...

Thanks to LOR15 for the tip and to turkish for the link. But why not include the 5 questions among the links on the homepage? The interview is fantastic! Great job, LOR15!

for LOR15 (where have you gone?). The differences are there, but it's not you who needs to convince me, nor the other way around. Anyway: where do I find the 5 questions...?

For once (!) I fully agree with Turkish. I’m fed up with labels like "commercial," "mainstream," "independent," "underground." In the 80s, it was a very relevant discussion, even at the beginning of the 90s (remember? Sonic Youth moving from SST to Geffen and Fugazi sticking to their principles). Still discussing it in the same terms today... meh!
