I apologize for the punctuation and grammar errors! I had to write this review rather quickly. Anyway, the question marks instead of exclamation points weren't put there by me!!! There must have been an error on the part of the editors.

I replied to you on the other side, miss... but that's enough now... this is not a damn forum! Everyone has their own tastes. Whitney Houston has NOTHING besides her voice! And that’s my opinion. End of discussion.

Piccy89, I like you to death for the way you defended your favorite artist, well done! I’ll just respond briefly, avoiding any lengthy explanations :-) ... There are many ways to compose tender and melancholic ballads; there are songs that are very minimal in sound but still manage to melt your heart and move you... Whitney is amazing... her music is not of poor quality and is well-crafted... but overall IT'S A COLOSSAL DRAG!!!! It bores, it tires, the music doesn’t engage, it’s a pain in the ass! And I apologize for using such language, but it’s just part of my nature. Anyway, you’re right to review this album again... to each their own... and if you really want to know what I think about female singers... read my review of Annie Lennox's "Diva." 10 to 0 compared to Whitney... but what can you do... I'm crazy! Damn, I didn’t write a lengthy response, but almost ;-)

Talking about Joan Lui, one can't really mention a technical masterpiece, considering the film has a ton of flaws... but on the content level, it's simply PHENOMENAL! Apocalyptic, mystical, delirious, courageous, provocative, experimental... it's got it all! Celentano as Jesus Christ healing the lame and delivering impressive sermons to the people while singing and dancing! Can you believe it? It's obvious the film didn't succeed! And it’s right that it didn’t! Who the heck can support a film with a megalomaniac protagonist who thinks he’s Christ and lashes out at the people, bringing about the apocalypse? Are we kidding? The beauty of Joan Lui lies precisely in the fact that it was snubbed by the masses! Celentano took too many risks! And the people can never accept something like that... Yuppi du is a masterpiece... but Joan Lui is Celentano!!!!!

This album is a masterpiece! This band has represented a musical era of extreme originality; that is, the genres they offer are more or less the ones we know, but it's the extraordinary mix that makes this album nothing short of genius! This group doesn't just stick together various different genres, but they give each song a highly personal touch that is impossible to imitate. Another greatness of this group is that they don't take themselves too seriously; the band appears in the videos like a cartoon, they are simply comics creating comic music that is cheerful, vibrant, and innovative. They don't aim to be phenomena or intellectual musicians; they are simply (so to speak) cheerful cartoons playing with sounds and creating an alternative, fun, and cartoonish sound universe. I would say they are quite an experimental group that has gifted us with excellent fresh and original music with this album—an incredible CD! I love them! And with this comment, I've made my mini review on de-baser :-)

Damn, what a mess!!! I apologize to everyone! Next time I’ll do a review on the Jackson Process so maybe I can please everyone! Despite the negative opinions of many of you... and despite the lack of musical culture I’ve noticed (by lack of culture, I don’t mean that History has to be liked by everyone... I mean that if someone says "this song is made this way" and the other replies "he wanted to throw his son from a balcony," it means they don’t know how to argue about music... that’s all. I don’t want to fuel the controversies any further, this is a site where everyone can express their opinion, but I’d like to clarify one thing... Michael Jackson is not liked only by his fans who tear their hair out and would defend him to the death! I am not a crazy MJ fanatic (my craziness lies elsewhere); I’m not one of those who pitch a tent two days before outside the stadium gates where MJ’s concert is held, I’m not one of those who walk around with History t-shirts shouting "long live Michaeeeeeeel"!! I am a lover of good music and especially of very different genres... I like Rock, pop, electronic, Blues... I don’t want to limit myself to just one artist (last night I almost came listening to the Lennox album that I reviewed on this site)... That said, in my opinion Michael Jackson is an artist of extraordinary talent, a music genius who, thanks to other music geniuses like Quincy Jones, managed to create musical products of very high artistic level... History, in my view, is an extraordinarily qualitative album and when I listen to it I want to think only about the music! I’m not an 80-year-old woman living off gossip and rumors (you know the neighbors, those older ladies who would wish you dead?) so Michael Jackson’s private affairs, honestly, I couldn’t care less! In this review, I wanted to express my passion for this wonderful musical album which contains beautiful songs like "Stranger in Moscow," "Earth Song," and "Little Susie".... I’m happy if you like it too... but honestly, I don’t care if you don’t like it. What saddens me (I say this lightly) is that no one can distinguish a musical note from a kid's ass. Hello everyone!

Sorry for the spelling mistake I made on the song EARTH SONG... I wrote "HEARTH"... the song is so beautiful that an extra "H" slipped out.

Dear DaveJonGilmour, I’m crazy about many many things but not when I talk about an artist of the caliber of Michael Jackson! I think that not recognizing him as the greatest exponent of pop means having slices of ham in your eyes and corks in your... your... ears :-)

I believe in the story of the boycott, I’ve listened to the songs that were left out of the album, and they’re all better than those included in the record!! Someone must have influenced Michael (now alienated) to choose certain songs, telling him they are suitable for today’s pop audience (the one of Britney!!), while instead, in my opinion, it was a move to include less appealing songs.
Songs written by six people, leftovers more beautiful than the official ones, "hard" songs replaced at the last moment with "soft" tracks (the case of the splendid "Shout" replaced with that bore "you are my life"). In my opinion, Michael J. entrusted himself to the wrong people (who, for reasons of billion-dollar contracts and various catalogs, managed to sabotage the album). It's just a theory, but I believe it.
Anyway, this album, even if lacking in great ideas and soul, is still a quality ReB record.
But GOODBYE MICHAEL JACKSON!!!
