Today everyone is flipping votes :D Anyway, having listened to this record, it gives me the impression that hell is empty, etc. etc. is superior to it.

Just yesterday I heard Hell is empty blablabla: BEAUTIFUL! It had been a while since I came across a band with such an original sound, happy.

Oh Sid, they made two with the same name... anyway, calling them a "supermarket band" seems overly exaggerated to me.

Well, for me, among the Rancid albums, this is the one I like the least after their debut. It starts with a series of more than decent tracks, but then it loses itself a lot: the quartet "David Courtney - Start Now - Out of Control - Django," for example, contains some of the lowest points in their career (besides the fact that I don’t find much similarity between Out of Control and Django and the album from 2000). Yes, there are songs that help raise the level of the album (Memphis, Tropical London, Stand Your Ground), but I don’t think they’re enough to push the album beyond a passing grade. Let's hope the next one is better.
Hideaki Anno Neon Genesis Evangelion (The end of evangelion)
Voto:
psycho, I wouldn't be so critical about today's characters: even in the '70s and '80s there was flatness, even though nostalgic memories can work wonders (and let's not forget that the titles you mentioned are all based on manga, so the character isn't original but mediated). Just like back then, today there’s also a lot of really good stuff out there.
Hideaki Anno Neon Genesis Evangelion (The end of evangelion)
Voto:
Personally, I consider Evangelion one of the most overrated anime series I've come across, nor do I find it particularly profound (the final episodes are pure boredom precisely because they try to be deep without saying anything; Anno wanted to do more than what was within his capabilities). And if I want introspection with disturbed characters as it should be, I'd rather read something by Asano Inio.

I only have Holyname that doesn't really blow me away, while still remaining an enjoyable record. The concept of the dispersive connotation of the guitar isn't very clear to me, but other than that, it's fine.

Space quote from Mike76. Unfortunately, I find their albums extremely heavy to listen to.

But oh, here we are already at the fifth review of this album.
