Regarding the review: why did you decide to write a review about The Offspring (among other things, a compilation) if you don't care about them? @DaveJon: come on!

As far as I see it, The Offspring did not have the sudden commercial shift they are often accused of; rather, they have followed a path that began with Smash, and the subsequent albums are just a natural continuation of that. The fact that these latter albums might have turned out to be inferior to the first three (though there is much more variety and perhaps quality in Ixnay than in Ignition) is another matter that, at least for me, has little to do with commercialization.

no no kosmo, you’re just all jealous and united against enrybaxx, who has shown quite a remarkable maturity in managing to say all that nonsense in the first paragraph while trying to seem like he’s on the side of the righteous...I reread all the comments on the incriminating review; wow, if he gets offended because, in calm tones, people dissent from him, well, congrats! can you imagine how many people should stay on debaser...the idea I’ve formed is that we’re dealing with a person with an obviously overflowing ego, convinced that they possess absolute truth, but the moment they’re not praised by everyone, they leave in a dramatic fashion (who cares!) not unlike a child fighting with friends...good job enrybaxx! we will miss you.......
