Dear IKO, let me explain, De-Baser is for a break! From what? From everyday life, from work, and why not, from those moments that are a bit off. In other words, I come here because I know I'll find people who share my passion for music, because I know I'll always find useful information for my music purchases, because I’m a softie and I’ve grown fond of most of you, and above all because I have fun. We’ve already discussed how everyone who hangs around here for a while becomes a "character." Each has their own traits that can make them more or less likable, more or less informed, or good at writing. In my opinion, you often demonstrate that you are definitely one of the more informed ones but one of the less self-ironic, and sometimes this last trait unfortunately tends to negate or ridicule the first... Not everyone has your approach to music; it’s not the same for everyone. Would you have described in detail everything that led to the recording of this masterpiece, Velvet Underground & Nico? Then do it; I’m very interested in your opinion on this… 2+2=5 saw it this way, felt this, and I respect that. This album was given to me by a friend, a guy who has problems, one of those people defined as “not 100%”... we were at a dinner for my birthday, he came up to me and handed me this CD. You should have seen the shocked faces of those who consider themselves “normal” or very informed or quite capable… they were astonished that someone they consider a fool could know such a masterpiece. Respect for everyone!!!

A historic album, one of the essentials on the shelf. When Lou Reed sang Venus in Fur this summer, I'm sure that 99.9% of the audience, of all ages, felt a shiver down their spine.
