Turkish, they were showing the film on satellite (I think it was RaiSat) and I saw it for the first time a little while ago. I’m being honest, I was very curious; I had that curiosity since I was a child or a teenager precisely because I hadn’t been able to see it since it was supposedly banned due to its themes. Moreover, I remembered the rumors about a flirtation between Sakamoto and Bowie (always the connoisseur Bowie, Sakamoto is remarkable in the film) ;-) I found the film a bit heavy and somewhat empty. And to think that usually the heavier the films are, the more I like them. The soundtrack of "Il tè nel deserto" is also very beautiful.
