For me, the DT have ruined the average metal mentality for the past 10 years. I remember when I started playing guitar; our idol as kids was Page (can you believe it?). Then suddenly, if you couldn't play the solo from "Images and Words," you were trash and should just give up playing... but what happened to the good old Kerry King? Metal should be a ruckus for us son-of-a-bitch outcasts of society, not a guitar technique exercise pretending to be music. I have to say, I saw a DT concert, and I must say they're dreadful, not just musically, but visually: who the hell are those five half-obese guys dressed like posers, frozen on stage like me at my first concert at the polenta festival... come on... (nothing personal) but I interpret music under different parameters.

Too much on the plate sometimes tends to make one forget that music is meant to be listened to, ehehhehehe.
