Wow, what a review for a brand new little doll :). Really great review. So, a blind buy... well yes, the latest (or should I say the first!) from Chiave di Volta (an Italian prog band that's really interesting!). I would also give you the review, but then good old Hal falls asleep on me :)(the official version is that having moved, I still don’t have internet!! :( ). Little doll, I don't know the album... but with this advertisement, it's not exactly inviting for a purchase. Bye and with affection, Logic.

I absolutely and strongly step in here to dissociate myself from Viktor's comment. It's not to be cruel, but if *amused to death* is crap (or the chase for *division*... which frankly it's not), then we might as well have fun shooting at the Red Cross. If, on the other hand, Waters gets on your nerves... well then avoid judgments or biases of any kind. It's not enough to dismiss Waters by saying that ā€œhis schizophreniaā€ led to the death of the PF. Explain why. Have you ever heard the orchestrations of *Final Cut*? They are masterful! But if what you're looking for is the guitar solo... well then leave aside the concept of *Final*, it's not for you.

Very effective, Toti, your example of Coca-Cola. Really, guys, you amaze me. Congratulations on the nice page that came out of it. PS: Toti, I partially agree, but your thoughts are very interesting. Bye, guys.

Claudio, it doesn't seem to me that anyone is being demonized, least of all Cremonini or Ferretti. What emerged from your review is a good and rightful thing. What came out of it was a debate, a dialogue, a confrontation. What came to light was an examination of some hypotheses... I see no harm in that. On the contrary… it’s the ultimate purpose of the site. No one has been insulted. I think it’s legitimate to ask questions in life; tastes remain and will always be personal… and thank goodness for that. We only tried to analyze together what the album can offer for better or worse. This discussion has rarely been possible (without ending up in the most sordid flame). Everyone freely expressed their comments (pro or against). I repeat, in this I do not see defeatism; on the contrary, I see intelligence. Thank you for allowing this. PS: my choice not to vote for the album is a sign of attention and respect for your thoughts... this will not detract from the money that the CD is sure to generate. PS of the PS: I adore Ferretti (whom I consider a terrible singer but an excellent poet). To each their own. :)

Toti, I’m only now reading your intervention. I believe you are right. In medicine, it’s called operant conditioning. However, I’m convinced that this chain, which depends on us, can be broken. We need to roll up our sleeves and get started. From where? Well, think of all the stereotypes that exist (including clothes and whatnot).... there’s just an embarrassment of choices. Bye.

Sorry again, I'm adding a link that explains a bit about the relationship between radio and majors (or, according to some sources involved in the debate, the "big bullshit")!!!!
RIVISTA INFORMAGIOVANI: Speciale politica ;
Dangerous Magazine e-zine su musica, moda, costume, tendenze e disco (a site that discusses going beyond the economic constraints of the majors) ; link rotto
These articles (if you feel like reading them) hint at the game that exists between radio and majors... as Ferretti would say: "those who are in are in and those who are out are out"! Ciauz :)

Guys, I’m already noticing a heated debate about the previous review of this album: Claudio Pessotto. Let’s not waste the comments... or maybe it’s better this way! Bye :)
PS: Has the Cremonini mania exploded? Or is it perhaps a major label attack to promote this album together with Dream T. and SOAD? A terrible doubt! :)

No one is saying or has questioned the fact that Cremonini can play, just as no one (at least speaking for myself) claims that Cremonini can write great songs. Are you talking about quotes? Reviews must be based on quotes. How else could one explain what the ear does not hear? And furthermore, if the reviewer states that the lyrics (or anything else) are in line with the "poetry of Italian singer-songwriter" tradition, I quote the singer-songwriter tradition and dissociate myself (of course, I've always spoken personally). I'm not so closed-minded as to exclude Cremonini a priori (music teaches that time matures; for example, Alice). I don't waste energy and time demonizing Cremonini (who doesn't give a damn about me :)). I respond, with my feelings, and seek communication (read: deepen with you) with those who signed and documented their perception of this album (I don't want to convince them that it's not much. There is no right or wrong in what to listen to). What I say is what I feel, just like your Subsonica = indifference. The question remains the same, and I'll repeat it: why is there so much talk about these "phenomena" and not other talents are considered? Why does the market prefer to sponsor some over others? PS: are you really sure that the majors do not influence radio programming (so sure that you can dismiss me by saying it's nonsense? And the word nonsense carries a significant weight that shouldn't be underestimated, guys)? I accuse no one nor do I demonize. I simply reason on what the reviewer says. That's all. Bye :)
