PS: If I really have to listen to material coming from the USA, I prefer the Flaming Lips. But tastes are tastes. BYE :)

Well, even marking an era seems to me a rather unrealistic and very suggestive statement. The group can either be liked or not, no one can or should control another person's emotional sphere. But the BJ are definitely rather simplistic, or in any case not a music that is, so to speak, seminal. Maybe for the USA rock scene, but in Europe we are used to much more. I won't rate the album because I personally find it bland, suitable to listen to while fiddling around; but that's just my opinion and if someone thinks it's THE unmissable album, THE album of the millennium, well, I won't be the one to convince them otherwise. :)

Sure, you can't find them? I'm not Vasco Rossi or Cremonini! :) (someone's gonna lynch me now :P). Imagine, I couldn't even find them on the tracklist website (I can't remember what it's called!!). Musically, they are somewhat similar to Juri, although not exactly the same. I'll send you the link to the group's website... it's a bit unsettling, but then again their concept album is certainly not the last of the sugar free!!!! PS: I wrote the review. link rotto

I searched and searched, and in the end, I found it, along with "il carmelo", on e-mule. I listened to the album and frankly, I find it.............BEAUTIFUL! Thank you, Enea, I was not aware of the existence of this artist, or rather, Artist. I reiterate that interesting things in Italy succumb to the likes of Cremonini. This album is biting poetry...seriously, if I hear "Sardegna" by Cremonini, I could burst with rage.....!!!!
Anyway, Enea, try listening to the Sig V (also underestimated Italians) with "Strani Sogni"...you should like it. In fact, I'm almost tempted to write a review. Rating and now I know!

I read in my inbox Ry Cooder... and I think wow what a splendid choice! Who could review such a wonderful record? I scroll past the title and read a familiar nickname: HAL! It can't be! It's him again! Oh well, let's read this review! It can't be! It's even good! Oh well... I can’t help but have my finger glued to the number 5 key... ugh, I’m going to need a dermatologist! :)

So, Aeneas, if you assure me that Maggese is at the same level, then it means I'm buying it... the greengrocer down the street was selling it, right? :)

so much technique, but above all so much feeling. In my opinion, the best album by Pat!

WOW guys, I'm on the hunt for the record, but I can't find it!!!! And it drives me craaaaaaazy!!! Could someone give me a tip? Or should I just buy the latest "masterpiece" by Cremonini that they even sell at the kindergarten cafeteria? Let me know! PS: Seriously guys, if you know where to find it around Rome, hit me up. By the way, is it still being printed? Cheers!

...and Pirandello wrote: "So it is, if you like!" Comparing "Sardinia" to "my brother who looks at the world"....meh. As far as I'm concerned, I am on the hunt for Roberto Juri Camisasca and for texts that are real poetry and not merely presumed as such. Everyone chooses their path dictated by their instinct. My journey regarding Cremonini can only diverge, and reading his lyrics disinterests and drives me away. For others, the same lyrics are expressions of life. I only regret that there is disparity in the music market and that to find an interesting Italian author, I have to wander the entire peninsula. The injustices of the record market!

Dear Enea, on the author's website you suggested, I am reading the texts... wow! Really interesting. I stifle a smile of emotion and a tear. The smile because few represent living with such a powerful pen. The tear because I have read reviews about Cesare Cremonini that speak of wonder, and after reading his lyrics, I understood how Camisasca will always remain excluded from mass musical communication. Too erudite. Thank you, Enea. P.S. Can you tell me how the other albums are? Maybe the more recent ones are easier to find. P.S. of the P.S. I at least rate the lyrics.
