Depeche Mode Songs Of Faith And Devotion

Great review, splendid album, a band I adore. Just one note: isn’t your comment about the placement of "Higher Love" a bit pretentious? I really don’t think the track list for similar artists is done haphazardly… and frankly, placing it at the end gives it a strong finish and a worthy conclusion, doesn’t it?

Nice review, although - as a Depechiana, always convinced - I completely disagree with the part about Martin Gore. But that's just my opinion. As for the rest, I really like your biographical analysis. There's just one thing that makes me smile: you're perhaps the only one to call them the Mode. The whole world calls them simply the Depeche! Mode, it sounds very 60s English... Anyway, great job! Bye!

I didn't know anything about the film, the review is extremely original and I really liked how you decided to present it to us. Well done, young man!

Stunning film, a cornerstone of cinematic literature in the genre. I just bought it again in its restored version, and watching it in the original is moving. I almost agree with everything except for your final comment about the actresses' performances: precisely because everything is very veiled, implied, delicate even in the tragic nature of the ending, the acting of the two stunning actresses is impeccable and couldn't say or give more. For me, it's a full 5. @Bartolino: A MUST-SEE.

Nice review, very nice. I don't know them, but I've already let loose the animal with the long ears (which is not a rabbit)...

I know them well from this evening with this CD. A beautiful review, especially if paired with a joint listening experience. A real show!
