Great review. If you wanted to intrigue, target hit. I'll listen to it. And you, warmly welcomed...

Damn it, was there really no work by the great Clannad? Well done you for filling the gap. As for selling the vinyl only to find it again, I think there's something truly poetic about it, regardless of the fact that I could never, ever sell my old vinyl even in the case of a severe famine. The only time I DID, I completely messed up the valuation, selling (as I already mentioned in the related review) the original 33 RPM of "Fresh fruit for..." by the Dead Kennedys for 5,000 old liras, which I then found at another market for about 70,000 liras. I wanted to cry. So, never again. I'm happy that Pollicino has returned to the farmhouse and that you talked about it here. You know, it's the only one by Clannad that I don’t know and don’t own! I’ll remedy that as soon as possible. Thank you.

Definitely a better review than the previous one, in my opinion (and it seems I'm not alone). A kick-ass movie, but I wouldn't define it as his absolute best. Especially since there's that one called Inseparabili that.........

As mentioned above, given the considerable number of insights that a film like this continues to offer even after so many decades, it would have been appreciated to read a review that was a bit more detailed, in-depth, or less... elementary, but it's fine as it is. A cult film, now and always, still frighteningly relevant, as often happens with all the dreamy delusions or otherwise of Mr. Cronenberg. Four well-deserved balls.

Oh my goodness, what do you propose.. A wonderful artist I've loved since I was a child, since the tender age of 11.. Thank you for reminding me..

Mmh, maybe this job, how should I put it, "is not my cup of tea," but the review goes down like a sip of Brunello di Montalcino with a 400g Florentine steak!

I absolutely loved it, just as much as it hurt me.. And this film hurts like hell..

Ah, I hadn't noticed who the director was. Perhaps because the film repulsed me so much that I wanted to forget every feeling. Not only for what you mentioned, which is already a disappointment for genre lovers, but especially because it achieves the one goal it perhaps didn't even want to fully tackle, namely feeding the audience a SICK film from every point of view.
All the most sordid and abhorrent aspects can be found in this film, from violence, rape, incest, to the sick morbidness of a nucleus much more akin to a freak show than to a real family. The lingering sensation is truly one of disgust for its own sake. To be avoided.
@NES: who’s the babe, the chicken in the skirt????? Naaaaaa.

I really really like this CD. As Kosmo says, it's good to shake your butt every once in a while and not just your thoughts, and this great work by Mrs. Ciccone certainly makes you shake it hard.

Here, I wasn't sure, but now I know that I have to see him. Thank you.
