I bought this CD in March (2003) and since then I've been listening to it at least once a week. It's a masterpiece. Period. Two days ago I also bought the "BLACK EP" (8 euros!!) a CD with 6 tracks, one of which is unreleased and the others are live: get it now!!! Come on, hurry up! Soooon!!!
Tin Machine Tin Machine

I find it to be a remarkable album with something truly beautiful, and I'm referring to "Prisoner of Love," "Crack City," and my absolute favorite, the hypnotic and lysergic "I Can't Read," a tribute to Warhol and worthy of Bowie at his best, and he has seen many times!! All of this, while considering this Tin Machine effort as a simple, almost playful, temporary project for our guy.. Come on, I would give him a bit more credit.. That said, the Bible for me remains the trilogy..

"...Give me your hands, you're wonderful, just gimme your hands..." with that voice almost cracked by tears...
I’ve imagined a thousand times someone taking my hands while - on the turntable, or in a more modern era in the player - this track was playing... "give me your hands..." This is poetry, poetry that sometimes resides between the grooves of a vinyl, in the sound waves in the ether, in the written lyrics shouted/sighed at concerts, in the hidden thoughts during the listening of songs like these...
Duca, I would like a child from you!!!!!

I spent hours and hours listening to this double album, simultaneously reading the dense double cover, written in small print interrupted by black-and-white photos. I GOT EMOTIONAL. THANK YOU.
Cocteau Twins Treasure
Voto:
I have known and loved the Cocteau Twins for many, many years, and since then, they have been part of my most cherished and intimate repertoire. Treasure is a very beautiful album, but perhaps a bit immature and rough, both for its still very '80s sound and for Beth's very... visceral vocalizations. I highly recommend anyone interested to listen to the more recent and mature works where Fraser’s voice combined with Guthrie's riffs and the use of Gaelic provide very strong and delicate emotions at the same time, specifically: BLUE BELL KNOLL (1988), HEAVEN OR LAS VEGAS (1990), 4 CALENDAR CAFÉ (1993), and MILK & KISSES (1996). My word! A kiss to Cleo.
Cristina Donà Dove sei tu

I’ve been following Donà since her early days, back when she practically only appeared on the back cover among the contributors or even just as a backing vocalist, until quietly she snagged the Tenco Critics’ Award for her first work and began performing niche concerts in small, smoky venues across Italy. I’ve got all her CDs, I’ve seen her live five times, and I recommend that anyone wanting to enjoy some excellent live music (in addition to her songs, covers of U2, Jeff Buckley, and why not? Donna Summer) do the same, also because her energy live is much more explosive than in the studio, thanks to the guitar virtuosity in her live arrangements. She’s amazing!!! I also recommend her collaboration on the latest La Crus album. Bye Cleo
