:-) Qzerty, don’t worry, your explanations are always very practical and thorough, especially your last post: they intrigue me but don’t completely convince me, probably because as you say I'm not really into the genre or maybe I just prefer the dark one... But you see, it sparked my curiosity... That’s a point in favor! Bye!

I heard them again this weekend (let me preface this by saying I only have Wings of Joy) following the numerous reviews that have come out in the group lately, in light of the impending autumn which has led to a resurgence of dark bands like Bauhaus, Siouxsie, etc. and unfortunately, I must reiterate that there’s nothing to it, I can’t digest it and I have unequivocally understood why: THE VOICE, that damn little reverberated voice that’s always the same, monotone and shrill, and moreover, not very powerful. It irritates me, and I abhor it or, how I abhor it!!!! Tell me that it gets better in the other albums, please. And above all, LET'S NOT SAY THINGS WE MIGHT REGRET, like comparisons with the DIVINE (= by extension, melodiousness, instrumental power, octave range, interpretation, etc. etc. etc.) Frazer or the much better O'Riordan, please!!!!

I couldn't find it at my trusted CD supplier -grumble!- so I settled for "CRACKLE, The Best of," which contains some tracks (including the title track), and I fell in love with it all over again. Wow, what a band, still so relevant and intriguing! Thanks for the tip, guys; I definitely won’t let MASK slip away. To L'Inquisitore: you were absolutely right, thank you! Bye!

Great review, I would dare to say entertaining. I read it in one go. I don't know them except for LABBRA BLU reinterpreted by Donà, which drives me crazy. By the way, which album would that last one be from?

"At first, the group is called Warsaw, but soon the name changes to Joy Division, which referred to the name of the Nazi concentration camps where deported women were forced into prostitution" - TAKEN FROM THE (nice) REVIEW BY HUMAX IN 2004. They, absolutely great. Me, as usual, in tune with Fidia and Qzerty. Hi.

Yes, I reread it today after some time since the last time, thanks to a tip from M.E., and I must say it’s truly stunning. I even surprise myself for having rated it "only" a 4 because, if it were possible today, I would give it a 6. However, my comment from January 2005 expresses what I think about your reviews, even though I said it jokingly; those that bear your signature are truly a guarantee. As for the CD, I have no better words than those already said, and "masterpiece" seems like the least. Kisses to everyone.
