Lemur, apocalipshit is a magnificent expression!, you made me laugh... Ah Mariè, but do you write your reviews at night, like you’re baking them daily like cardo bread??... Anyway, I can get the cassette of this too, but I agree with the common thought that they were really blah, even though Entre Dos Tierras is a beautiful piece!

Dwarfs... I only ask you: BUT WHY??

Agreed with Fidia without the shame of sincerity (Rio is really beautiful), but I appreciated this review a lot because it says some undeniable truths. I haven't listened to the CD and I absolutely won't, but what’s written above is irrefutable. Who says that only masterpieces should be reviewed? Music magazines review releases in their entirety, not just the cool stuff! If a CD is rubbish, it’s right for me to be told that, right? And for someone like me who is of a certain age and experienced the Duran phenomenon live and not just through a reflection, reading something so true is refreshing! Just think, when "Astronauts" was released, I walked by and overheard a conversation among a group of teenage kids that I’ll share: “OH, a CD from a new band is out, they're called Duran Duran, cute…” - HORROR!!!

Hal, I missed this one from you, also because I only added the CD in question to my collection this July on the recommendation of a friend.. can you believe it? I really enjoyed this first volume, and it accompanied all the light moments of my summer. Riding on the wave of enthusiasm, I had the second one burned for me: and I’m glad I did, because if I had bought it, I would have regretted it. The second work is a bad déjà vu lacking the brilliant nuances of the first one; in short, it’s dull versions of wave masterpieces that, when reduced like this, only make us long for the originals. The CD lacks all that verve and originality that the first volume had. In short, just skip it. Kisses to you.

I, and I’m very ashamed of it, don’t know him but I’ve heard so much about him that he’s on my white list, or rather, my sky blue list.. Good job M.E.

Beautiful review, beautiful CD. Back in the day, I devoured it and I would definitely have given it a 5; now, with the benefit of hindsight and so much other great music that has come my way, I settle for a 4. However, it remains a wonderful work and a band I'm truly attached to, even with their later stuff.
