Well, definitely a "venerable" group, and this isn't one of the most sought-after bands from 2000 to today, but it remains a group that marked the '80s and was still pleasantly listened to in the '90s. So what are we saying? Should we stop listening to Chopin or Beethoven or other musical giants just because they are dead and classical music in the strict sense ended with the late '800s/early '900s... or not? I haven't read all the comments, just the initial ones. I like your review, although it doesn't fully convince me "deep down deep down deep down": I would have "pampered" this album a bit more (along with her and her unmistakable voice). It's an album I adore, I love it in all its nuances and for the time it was released, it was absolutely innovative (crazy like her, only PJ and the very first Sinead O'Connor from The Lion &...). I give it 4/5 only because it feels a bit dated NOW. The only downside: I can't find it, I've got it on vinyl and can't find the CD. Any tips? Kisses
