I can understand that techno, hardcore, and house are similar, with the same sounds, lacking melody and repetitive, but dance tracks or those by Gigi D'Agostino are not like that; they are great for listening to on CD or on the radio, not just for dancing.

True enthusiasts buy it; Dagostino fans like me can't wait for the 27th to get the new Gigi Dag compilation. It's true that the disco music scene is in crisis because genres like dance, techno, hardcore, trance, and progressive are no longer played on the radio or in clubs, but we shouldn't generalize.

Matteo, what are you talking about? Do you really think that club music lacks sacrifices and hard work to create? I can agree with you about some DJs who release a song every season, but not about a DJ like Gigi D'Agostino. His new album is coming out soon, and I will definitely buy it, but the last one came out a year ago, so not all DJs release a song for every season. It’s true that compilations come out in spring, summer, winter, and autumn, but it’s not like that for all DJs. Many people think— and from what I see, even you and the metalheads— that club music is made solely for the purpose of selling, but who said that? Gigi D'Agostino makes music with his heart; for him, music should unite and not divide. Let’s not wage wars between music genres like the metalheads do or the house vs commercial dance battle.

Since when does true music exist and not? We don't classify music because everyone has their opinions; for me, I like what I like and don't like what I don't, like Ferro, Meneguzzi, Nek, Grignani, Povia. For others, it could be the opposite. I don’t like Pink Floyd just as you don’t like the singers I like.

For me, music is emotion, a desire to dance; for me, the artists I mentioned are special people, I care more about them than my parents and friends, they are a faith, people it’s hard to be without, and as D'Agostino says: music unites.

I've already said it, it seems to me that the true music is by D'Agostino, Zero, Freddie Mercury, Bach, Mozart, Beethoven. Of course, I'm speaking for myself because for others it could very well be different.
