Bernardo Bertolucci Ultimo tango a Parigi

You are right, Kosmo, it exists but it's never seen. A shame, I understand you. "Do you want to know something about the Holy Family? Let me tell you something about the Holy Family, the family that educates wild youth to virtues," and on with the fist fucking, is it not scandalous anymore?? And who cares?? Today, even my little cousin makes porn videos on her phone and shares them online; I don’t think this is transgression. That’s why, in my opinion, the power of a film like this remains unchanged through the ages. The real scandal of the film was the relationship between Brando and Schneider, so far removed from the norm, without any references to the worldly; they didn’t even exchange their names during the affair, they didn’t know anything about each other, work and other worldly trivialities. Who can say they have had a relationship like that with a partner nowadays?? Very few... since one of the first things a partner wants to know about the other is what job they do, how much money they earn; it’s all calculated even in a sexual relationship. In my opinion, that’s where the message of the film lies: being able to keep the worldly out and give oneself completely "from OBJECT TO OBJECT" and no longer from subject to subject. The situation depicted for three-quarters of the film represents paradise on earth; unfortunately, still a girl and not ready to let go, Schneider wasn’t prepared for this and reacted violently by killing. Forget what Poletti says about Brando representing tradition and Schneider the new that advances—where?? The drifting Brando who pulls down his pants during the last tango would represent tradition?? Please!

epoch-making film, though of Welles I prefer other films (The Lady from Shanghai, A Immortal Story, The Trial, Macbeth, Othello, Touch of Evil)
David Lynch Inland Empire

of course, of course, I certainly don't consider cinema a game to dig out plots; on the contrary, if there's a visionary who has dedicated his life to dreaminess and nonsense, that's me. However, Lynch wants to convey a message; that's all I think. My intention is just to offer a contribution to help those who are more disillusioned with the mad master to reconnect with him. As for the rest, being transported by the images in a film that seems increasingly less like cinema and more like video art, well, for me, it was the pinnacle.

And yet there is a plot, and yet there is a plot, not linear like in Lost Highway of course, but it’s there (because in Lost Highway it was child's play to understand the message and the dark plot of the film despite the fucking lobotomized people), can I spoil it?? If not, I'll direct you to this site where I explained the plot of Inland Empire for anyone who wants to follow the film with this interpretation I've provided: Pagina non trovata | FilmTv.it

I consider the Gospel According to Matthew a higher form of cinema than Scorsese's, a great film for sure, but all films about Christ have had to contend with Pasolini's, willingly or unwillingly.

I guess I need to revive my fake Maurizio Testi; Fidia liked it so much. I've kind of forgotten about it lately, maybe I could use it to mess with deivgiggiongilmour, for example.
