Rory Gallagher Calling Card

In my opinion, the flaw of the album is precisely the presence of a (co-)producer. Gallagher will indeed say that despite being a well-crafted album, he has never felt it completely his own, and he played very few tracks live, except for the tour immediately following its release. The album is fairly accessible, and in my view, it's the weakest of the early period or, if you prefer, the strongest of the later period. In addition to the already mentioned "Irish Tour" and "Live in Europe!", I would like to mention the lesser-known "The London Muddy Waters Session," which is a gem for refined tastes.

Gustavo, what would you recommend to me about the Dinosaur?
Thin Lizzy Vagabonds of the Western World

Wow, so you really are a cool guy! For me, the most beautiful version of Whiskey In The Jar remains that by Jerry Garcia and David Grisman, unbeatable. What can I say about Thin Lizzy? Emerald sounds like a song by Iron Maiden, and then George Best always went to drink at Phil Lynott's mom's pub.

Of this, all that remains for me is Everybody's Everything; I haven't listened to it in ages.

Stevie Ray Vaughan is the only guitarist who, after one note, you already know it's him, but you don't consider it a flaw.

Pelé has scored over 700 goals, the rest are friendlies and don't count for anything.

Holly was number 10 in the classic sense of the shirt number assigned based on position, and the 10 has never been a forward. The forwards are 9 and 11. Then came fixed numbers and names on the jerseys, and everything went to hell, but that’s another story.
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds The Firstborn Is Dead

When we talk about "Tupelo," no one mentions "Looky Looky Yonder" by (or by) Leadbelly, which Nick Cave will use again in the following "Kicking Against the Pricks" for "Black Betty," or the stunning "Tupelo" by John Lee Hooker. Bartle's review remains unsurpassed.
