I have always wondered why Metallica copied, in "Master Of Puppets", the riff from "Andy Warhol" by David Bowie, and also why they used the words "Leper Messiah", taken from the song Ziggy Stardust, also by Bowie. Mystery.

I guess I’ll have to sit through this old lady to see Jeff Beck at the Pistoia Blues Festival. I mean, if she pulls from the old tracks, I can’t complain, and she’ll definitely fire off a "Rock'n'roll Nigger" since she’ll be inaugurating the exhibition dedicated to Hendrix (Jimi Hendrix was a nigger, Jesus Christ and grandma too). Is punk not music? Are the Clash a boy band? Are they the Green Day of the late '70s? The Clash aren’t punk because they perform at concerts organized by some institution? The fact that they evolved and that London Calling is the emblem of this evolution doesn’t mean that the Clash aren’t punk.
