because deep down cool girls in music don’t understand anything. The highlight of my experience was meeting a girl who made a compilation with "Struggle For Pleasure" by Wim Mertens, even though she knew this song by the name of "Merit Cup commercial."

No, you don't understand. Try to picture a girl whose musical taste is inversely proportional to her bra size. She's so clueless that you could tell her you wrote Little Wing for her, as she's convinced Hendrix is a brand of condoms. Among the many songs I’ve tried to play with this trick, Don't Cry has always been the most successful, without exception.

an engaging and interesting discussion almost as much as the movie

don't touch me Don't Cry, I've had a lot of lemonade thanks to that song. When a woman hears those 3 chords, worn out and overplayed, she melts like snow in the sun, try it to believe it.

be careful, paloz might play the Frank Zappa card. And we could tell him that reviews shouldn't be copied. So if any editors happen to pass by and feel like adding an "uh-oh" to the review of "Apostrophe" by Frank Zappa from dear Paloz, translated poorly from this site Apostrophe (') - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Since you're going to listen to Bonamassa, I recommend these two songs: "Blues Deluxe" and "Pain And Sorrow". I was really about to get indignant about your last comment :D

Sorry, I must have expressed myself poorly. I set Jeff Beck aside because for me he stands in a category of his own; I didn't want to mix him with the others. For me, after Hendrix, he is the best. Seen up close, the precision/clarity/musical taste I've never seen before. It's true that he didn't have the fame he deserved, but he remains a great artist. For those who don’t find him that impressive, I recommend listening to a few tracks here and there, something like: "Cause We've Ended As Lovers," "Where Were You," his stunning version of "A Day In The Life" by The Beatles, or something live like "Brush With The Blues."

You're right about Gallagher, what a forgetfulness, one of my idols. I specifically avoided Jeff Beck. Was there anyone this year at the Pistoia Blues Festival to see him?

Among the newcomers, one definitely worth listening to is Joe Bonamassa. As for the legends, Clapton and Duane Allman, as well as Page and Steve Cropper.
