In fact, I find it a beautiful thing—people who have always wanted to play together but, due to a name that is too big, have rarely succeeded, or at least not while having fun. I believe they saw the Pink Floyd reunion at Live 8 (or maybe even the Cream in 2005) and thought they could do it too, on the right occasion, like the tribute to Ahmet Ertgun, who did a lot for them and for music in general. I wouldn't criticize them, but I would criticize the Police, for example, who went on a tour just for the money. For me, Plant already didn't have the voice back in 1973, but that's not the point; I’m not making it a technical issue.

one of the very few guitarists to emerge in the '70s who has nothing to do with the blues, very clean and a good composer. One of those guitarists who is impossible to reproduce. I’ve never listened to anything from his solo career, and I find the reunion terrible, especially with a monster like Paul Rodgers, who has everything except blues, and does not fit in with Queen at all. The review is well written.
