Yes, I saw the review of Drim :D. No, I don’t think Michael Jordan needed it; someone like him would never have needed any of that. Basketball, after all, isn’t like soccer. Doping is more of an endurance sport issue. In soccer, for better or for worse, doping can only help you run more and feel less fatigue, which is a nice advantage, but it doesn’t necessarily mean winning. In athletics and swimming, on the other hand, it's all about going faster and feeling less tired, so it's obvious. Coincidentally, Phelps' records come back with a cycle of two years, just like my coach used to say. And come on, Larrok, don't be a moralist. How many untainted finals have you seen in the Olympics? Aside from China, of course, even Russia started winning in a suspicious manner after a certain point. From the middle of the Olympics onward, we returned to a full-fledged Cold War. Just against us, for example, in fencing, boxing, rhythmic gymnastics... Political weight has always mattered, and it always will. I don’t know if anyone has read Fidel Castro's interview; in between the delirious (he justified a kick to the face of the judge in taekwondo) and the ridiculous, he had some very interesting things to say.

After the first match of the season, it's now tradition to have a review of this (head)work.

I wanted to ask something, maybe someone knows. I'm looking for the video of Bolt in the 100m on YouTube; I believe due to television rights or copyright, it's either not available, or if it gets uploaded, it’s removed within a very short time. On the NBC website, the video exists but is restricted to the American audience. On the Rai website, it has been blocked... would any of you be able to link me to a place where I can watch Bolt in the finals of the 100m and 200m?

Look, regarding Phelps, I swam at a decent level, even competing in the regional breaststroke championships and finishing fourth. Now swimming has returned to being just a hobby for me, but I can assure you that even at the lowest levels I've seen people change their physique, improve their times by seconds, knowing that they use doping substances, and still pass the only anti-doping test they are subjected to during the season. Phelps' talent is undeniable, but there's no doubt in my mind that he is doping. In the semifinals, he would simply lower the Olympic record every time he swam, and in the finals, he would push down the world records. He competed, I don’t know how many times, I believe 3x8 which equals 24 or maybe more, in the span of just a few days, in monstrous times. These things are not humanly possible. And the nonsense about a 12,000-calorie diet really can't even be taken seriously. Any person who understands even a little about nutrition would tell you that it’s madness.

I mean, if every Inter fan supports the theory that referees used to make mistakes intentionally always in the same direction, can we believe that now they make mistakes, even more than before, in the same direction but this time in good faith? But, how can I put it, I mainly see this thing about manipulated sports in Latin countries and in regimes (like China's Olympics, the Chile World Cup, does anyone remember it?, the GDR I mentioned above with its institutional doping, see Heidi Krieger, who is not the sister of the Doors' guitarist, but rather the brother). In Anglo-Saxon countries, in my opinion (and I emphasize my opinion), these things don't happen. That's why I like watching English football: more spectacle, fewer tricks, and above all, plenty of goals. And then in general, all sports where judges don't count, like swimming or athletics. There, only doping matters :D. And don't tell me that Bolt isn't doped because I saw him run the 100 meters in Zurich the other day, this time all in one breath, without celebrating 15 meters from the finish line, and he barely finished under 10 seconds. Coincidentally, most world records are set during the Olympics.

For me, Maradona is the greatest football player of all time. The fact is that cocaine is not one of the permitted substances, and since he himself has declared to have used it since his Boca Juniors days, one has to wonder how he managed to pass all those doping tests.
