Ligabue Nome E Cognome
Voto:
A horrendous album, yet I quite liked Ligabue's "Giro d'Italia." However, his career consists of 12 albums (if I'm not mistaken), of which only 3 are bearable (the first one, the best, "Lambrusco, pop corn..." and, of course, "Giro d'Italia"). To be honest, even the lauded "Buon compleanno Elvis" was nothing special.

No occasional problem, it's not just 2 or 3 people who like "Distant Worlds." Also, someone should explain to me what’s so bad about it. Yes, you're right, indeed "The Animal" is exceptional, as long as the Counter knows it, understands its meaning, and so on.

Counter, I didn't say I was right. But you can't tell me that I'm the only one who finds "Distant Worlds" beautiful. Because universally, I repeat, I'm not talking about the DeBaser Universe. Is this clear to you or not?

Counter, the opinions of those who are stuck in here don’t mean a damn thing. Go ahead, just to name one, read what Bertoncelli writes. Then, if you really feel like it, go check what they say on Ondarock. And if you have a bit of time to waste (and I bet you have plenty), go see what Paolo Maddeddu, a music critic on www.delrock.it, says. And if you go on Google, read some reviews. You'll see I'm right; for "universally," it doesn't mean the DeBaser Universe.

The record is certainly very beautiful and contains some gems, like "E ti vengo a cercare" and the poignant "Nomadi." However, I still prefer "La voce del padrone" and "Mondi lontanissimi" by Battiato. Among other things, the first comment from the incredibly annoying mustachioed Massimino D'Alema is of infinite sadness: "Mondi lontanissimi" would be ugly? When has that ever been? It is universally regarded as one of his best (ranking in hand, go look it up if you want on the Internet), and you dismiss it with "chilling karaoke arrangements." So, is "L'animale" supposed to be karaoke? Or perhaps you don’t know what I'm talking about. Anyway, everyone has their own tastes.

Well, really, in here it doesn't mean a damn thing; in all the music charts, "Imagine" is always right there at number one. And trust me, they matter more than we do.

It may not be among the peaks of Pink Floyd (I always hold the legendary "The dark side" in my heart), but it's still a fine album. The Pink Floyd, like all greats, even when they weren't at their best, were always and nonetheless (almost) at their best.

Insulting review for one of the most beautiful albums in music history. "Moonchild" is my favorite, but the whole album is wonderful. A piece of history.

This record is an insult to music. Empty, boring, flabby, déjà vu, monotonous, devoid of emotions and thrills, blah blah blah.
