Fausto Rossi Lost and Found

Punny, you should know that the cover pays homage to the legendary album Faust'o, a work that has never been released on CD, also because at Dischi Ricordi they don't even know it exists. And this work should be the performance that Fausto gave in front of the producers to showcase the material he already had ready; then they removed the sax, the usual Radius joined in on guitars (who had already collaborated on the first two LPs), Roberto Colombo covered everything with keyboards, and Ricordi released the iconic FAUST'O. It was 1982 and it was the first Italian work to use the Fairlight.

Amalteo is too good; then he must be too strong, alone, lost in some alpine or pre-alpine valley......

Watch out because soon they’ll invent a new support and they’ll do the same trading operations again to make you buy it over and over again.
Fausto Rossi Exit

FAUSTO ROSSI "Exit" (Target)
Against all forms of goodism, leftism, rightism, social centrism, pacifism, third-worldism, internetism, satanism, catholicism, buddhism, environmentalism. Against everything and everyone. A suffocating nihilism, a terrifyingly dark black hole. No hope in the world portrayed by Fausto Rossi. No mediation, no diplomacy.
Fortunately, our protagonist manages to stay almost always (almost) away from the easy trap of nostalgia and memory, although here and there scents of old-time escapism (Sotto la pioggia al mattino) can be felt, and from time to time a certain self-indulgence peeks through.
It matters little that the music is a weary reiteration of the usual songwriter rock canons in the form of moderately slow and moderately guitar-driven ballads. This is a war, folks. Against everything and everyone. Everyone, even you who are reading and us who are writing. Thank you, Fausto. Especially for that monument of 14 minutes called Blues, which makes all possible references seem like mere outbursts - for example, "Io se fossi Dio" by Gaber - as if from a schoolgirl. An epochal piece that you cannot afford to miss, even if it's the last thing you buy. It’s been a long time since I recognized myself in such a damn writer, Christ.
