Holy polenta, the Mobbbbbile Sands... Tomorrow, or rather in just a moment, we’re off for our Abruzzese vacation and taking advantage of the Wi-Fi to hear about the new seven labors of the Herculean Gualtiero and his (rightly) raucous company.

There was already one of the late lamented donjunio, I would give you 5 just for daring to duplicate him as your predecessor.

Wait... In 1994, was the "metal scene" at its historical lows???? Just to name a few albums from that period, Far Beyond Driven by Pantera is a record of "historical lows"? Bands like Sepultura and Death were in their prime, in Scandinavia bands were popping up like mushrooms (Opeth?). I just can't see this decline. And to think I hardly listen to metal anymore...
Mountain Climbing!

To be honest, in Leslie West's solo album from the previous year called "Mountain" (actually Pappalardi was already present as producer and co-writer, and it is indeed considered the first album by Mountain) there were already all or almost all the elements that are found in this great album. I don’t think the arrival of Black Sabbath in the meantime was so crucial for them, at least for this album. The history of heavy metal passes through here as well.
The Sound Jeopardy

Masterpiece. Incomprehensible how it hasn't become something like "Pink Moon" over the years and has remained an object of cult, and Adrian Borland still hasn't had (a very meager consolation for him, I know, but what a great achievement it would be for the world!) the full re-evaluation he deserves.

I imagine and am pleased that there are more than a few people here who know him and haven't forgotten, and I am equally glad to have piqued Musicanidi's curiosity and hope to capture the attention of some other neophyte.
