You might like it, but it’s nothing new. The Ferdinands have been heavily fishing since the '80s, a bit like Interpol, to put it very generally. But this discussion has been addressed too many times, so I’ll refer you to the archived reviews (damn, I sound like a dwarf).

The only neo-something about Franz Ferdinand is that on the guitarist's face.

I would be careful about saying that the Beatles couldn’t play. I used to think that too until Greg Bissonette came for a clinic near my home to show that Starr was a good drummer. That said, I’m disappearing.

That jerk Jack White is helping the Stooges record their new album.

And Bruce Springsteen, right? Who would even think that?
Ministry Houses of the Molé

Well, it's obvious that they exist, just as there are people who couldn't care less. In my opinion, with an album like this, about 30% of the people who listened to it have considered the issue. Then, 90% of consumers of "normal" music really don't know that this issue exists (if it's to be considered an issue). Do you think my little cousin, who listens to REM, thinks they're full-on leftist and perform anti-Bush concerts?

No, you're mistaken, anonymous. I've never seriously read a Ministry text, nor have I spent money on an original CD, but MOST OF ALL I saw them once in concert in Milan, and the ticket was a gift from my idiot brother who buys tickets for concerts he can't attend. He’s the one who spent the money on them. But then, according to your reasoning, do I have a pacifist brother? No, because my brother is strongly right-wing and doesn't give a damn about anti-Bush talks. Say hi to Bush for me.

Exactly, then there are idiots like you who listen to what Al Jourgensen (a junkie) says during his records. If you pay attention to the ramblings of a heroin addict, you're set. Say hi to Bush for me.
