Art Of Self Defense is one of the top 10 stoner doom albums in history in my opinion, difficult, hazy, raw, stunning. They should build a statue of Matt Pike in front of my house. The Big Black isn’t a masterpiece, but it’s the best from Orange Goblin. I've listened to Hangnail very little. From Spiritual Beggars, the best for me is definitely the production with Spice on vocals; Demons (the latest) doesn’t do it for me. I would recommend Goatsnake with my eyes closed, but they are one of my favorite bands and unfortunately I'm not very impartial. Pete Stahl can sing however he wants, I love him, even when he plays the softie with the Earthlings?

stash take it with your eyes closed pen. Caz, I know it's hard for you not to be as rough as us and not to appreciate the growl on the stoner base. There you go!

The Bongzilla from Stash are awesome, but the ones from Gateway are just as good. A caz is annoying because he always sings in a slack growling, but you know, he’s gay.

Well, Hermano always makes me think about how beautiful it would be if Slow Burn still existed.

Here’s the perfect answer, we just need to give the right perspective to things ;). I repeat, it has now become a mass coverizaione :D.

Another cool group was the Helldwellers from Vicenza; they only released a demo, though. Oh well.

Did I accidentally hook up with your girlfriend? Fraz talked to you about it then :(. Well, as a backup there's always Filth by Waco Jesus, but at this point I risk becoming cliché. Anyway, I am the real cacca-finder, this stuff is my bread and butter. I'm contemplating the reflected mirror.

One of many, it’s true, but Sarah is a knockout. And super nice. The other two are also cool, they come by my place every other month to play, really friendly. Anyway, it’s in vogue now to cover each other’s songs and there’s a sort of stoner revival happening, but it feels like the same thing was going on in the 70s (or maybe I’m wrong). Roky, you seem a bit biased against bands of this kind (like those European ones). Let’s take away the "usuals" and the average quality of a stoner album is what it is. And please don’t come tell me that Solarized and Dozer are crap, it’s pure Rawk & Roll, more or less psych, zero pretensions, not crap.
