But what did Manson bring to the general public? It seems to me that "Portrait" is from '94 (correct me if I'm wrong), what the hell had he brought to the masses? Metal had already passed by a long time ago, especially in America (if you notice, Manson achieved success in Italy much later), he walked a path already trodden by many.
