Nice album, sweet enough to please teenagers and rock enough not to make me gay. Nothing to do with their beginnings, even though the last Perfect Pitch Black blends them perfectly.

But you don't mention Bronski Beat? What a shitty site, full of incompetents. By the way, I have a poster of Gary Glitter in my room that goes "yeah," from the time when I used to walk around with an Avirex Tornado leather jacket, an El Charro belt, and Cult boots, standard Wampum jeans, and gel, a lot of gel. Because I am worth it. You are all shit who listen to shitty music.

Marco, the fact that you are 4 years older than me doesn't give you the right to come here and boss everyone around, okay? Got it? I can't stand you and your bullshit and your antics. Nobody wants you here, just go away. Do you understand? What do you know about music? Look, I listen to Creed and Sum 41, the max of the max of the coolest, I mean, are you kidding me thinking you’re impressing me with these stupid little bands that only want to suck Blink-182's dick? Go back to sucking the big one.

Great, last year they made an incredible album with Gustaffson "How To Raise An Ox", and at the same time they released another awesome record like "The Way Of The Animal Powers", hard workers, there's no denying it.

Keyboardist issue; it seemed to me that one of the reasons why "l.s." isn't liked that much is because of having one less element. Besides, it was our choice to remain a trio (we just had to buy a MIDI pedalboard and a Moog Taurus II), you know, after changing 4 members in 6 years we were a bit fed up... not to mention that they all more or less vanished during their time in the band. In fact, during the recordings of "snailking," we had a new keyboardist for only a few months who didn’t show up at all during the sessions. Therefore, that was practically done by just the three of us, including the synth and keyboard parts that we created on the spot...
I reiterate before closing that an album can or cannot be liked and that I am just as open to compliments as I am to criticism, which is usually always more constructive...
Thanks, guys.
P.S.
To psycho; I don’t know Mono well, but I believe you’re confusing them with "acid mothers temple & the cosmic inferno."
I’m replying quickly, my friend. Regarding the surname, I don’t even know what yours is; I read it in some comment, who knows where, whatever. Regarding the album, as you said, it’s just constructive criticism about a work that disappointed some listeners who (like me, you well know) consider you among the major musical representatives in Italy. Plus, I myself said that there are similarities with the first one. But that’s an absolutely personal and debatable opinion. As for the label-ownership discussions and similar topics, I will refrain from commenting. Bye dear, see you in March. ;)

Honestly, I didn't like either the comparison with the old albums or the idea of being clever by putting, like Ufomammut, the videos on "l.s.". ā€œgodlikesnakeā€ and ā€œsnailkingā€ are complete albums while the last one was conceived and born as an EP. Therefore, comparisons can't be made especially when an album arrives at the top of the popularity charts and consequently there's more expectation and tendency to compare it (and possibly critique it) with the subsequent works. ā€œl.s.ā€ has a DVD attached simply because we wanted to fill our music with images as we have always done in our live shows, and not to sell more copies... it's true that if it were so, we wouldn't have made the title track downloadable for free on the site for those who don't have the LP/DVD version of Lucifer, right? And I don’t believe that selling 1000 more or less copies could change your life; therefore, it wasn’t done for that reason... We don’t have any copies of the new work left; they can be found in online stores because they were replenished at the time of the official release. Rocket Recordings collaborated with Supernatural Cat (which is NOT the label of Urlo but of Malleus) in the production of the CD/DVD... and then sorry, but even if it were a UFO self-production, what would be the problem? At Malleus, Poia, Urlo, and Luisa work; the first two are respectively guitar and bass/vocals of UFO, while the third is the one who takes care of the images projected during the concerts, so Ufomammut and Malleus are two separate entities but inevitably connected to each other.

WARNING: I'm copying an email sent to me by Vita, the drummer of Ufomammut, which responds to the discussion a few lines above. "Hi everyone, I’m Vita from Ufomammut. I wanted to join this discussion because I need to correct some inaccuracies; the first thing, the most important, is that I would really like to know who this Vitalini is who plays the drums in Ufomammut, my nickname is the abbreviation of my last name but it’s not Vitalini… so I want to know who it is!!! As for ā€œlucifer songs,ā€ I won’t discuss whether it can be liked or not, it’s a matter of taste like in everyday life… I don’t like pesto alla genovese just to mention one… When we sit down with our instruments and compose, we don’t try to create something that will please others, it may sound selfish but as long as we don’t fully like a piece, it doesn’t get ā€œreleasedā€ because first of all, it has to satisfy us. Then it’s natural that if your musical proposal is liked, it’s all gain, I’m very honored by the fact that, like on this site, people talk and discuss the Ufomammut universe, to see that we have more and more followers and to sign autographs on our works, but Ufomammut creates music first for itself and then for others."
