Dude, what a shit album... to each their own! Poor you...

In fact, I don't defend The Division Bell and A Momentary Lapse of Reason at all; on the contrary, I think they're quite terrible. I'm not the type to defend sacred monsters blindly, yet those two albums are still "Pink Floyd." The Final Cut really leaves something inside me; it moves me, and I defend it for that reason. Sacred monsters? I don’t care about that! I'm not an idiot, trust me! I carry on with bread and music just like you! Bye! :)

:D :D :D!
x open mind: I also don't consider it "the" Pink Floyd album, but who cares, right? Even "the lamb lies down on Broadway" isn't just a Genesis album, but a wonderful work by Peter Gabriel, so what's the big deal? Cheers to the albums that convey something! In this case, cheers to Roger Waters... I listened to it back-to-back even more and it left a deep impression on me... especially that final line you mentioned... that's where the essence is... and the essence always wins in hearts...

I wanted to say "about something," but I slipped and said something dumb... chill out, what are you doing? get lost...

I haven't written in a while either, damn it... it's about time I put something down.

here I am to protect you, eclipse! Just kidding, of course! :)

I didn't understand what you meant about the name of Mason not appearing in the album. In reality, it appears in the album; just read the back of the booklet. If you meant as a composer, apart from "speak to me" and the sessions in Ummagumma studio, he hasn't done much else. I'm not saying this because you shouldn't have written it; it's just something I've never heard said about "The Wall"! :) I'm usually quite critical when I hear people talk about Pink Floyd, so don't mind me! Anyway, good review, and of course, an excellent album.

Yes, Nick, that's exactly what I think too. Thank you for the compliment! :)

Anyway, I wasn't mad at you, Luca! I just wanted to express what I really think, and I'm sorry that you can't see the expression of the person writing or reading from behind a screen! It's all in great friendship, for sure! I respect you and your beliefs, if you tell me that you don't like The Final Cut!
Hi Eclipse, thanks! Anyway, we also need to understand that Waters has become more and more of a clinical subject, so much so that recently he had to undergo psychoanalytic treatment. (He stated this in a recent interview, I swear!).

absolutely not, easy. dark side "? a masterpiece, and I don't feel at all plagiarized by the 30 million copies sold. it's my heart and soul that drives me to say this. if I were someone who gets influenced by critics' comments or sales figures, I would absolutely love Britney Spears, but I certainly wouldn't be honest. and I wouldn't be here talking to you either.
